This is better. I'm fine with lists, as long as they contain some wit and wisdom. Buzzfeed rarely does either, even in their most base posts. I get it. I'm all for cats, and rugby thighs, and red heads, but that just feels mind numbing to me. I want to feel something, good, bad, sad, or whatever, when I read a post, not just zone out. Most of the time anyway.

As far as user generated content goes, I'd rather read some 18 year olds first experience at a car race, complete with grammatical errors, on Jalopnik/Kinja, than some trite click baiting bullshit that's offered in so many other places. It's tough. As you saw, even Business Insider is no longer just about business. Their site needs mindless click baits as well.
